Hack saw made of gas pipe

Fig. 19 shows the construction of a hack saw from gas pipe. The frame should be made of 3/8 inch pipe, and by using a reducing fitting as indicated in the illustration, the handle can be made of any desired size of pipe. Slots should be cut in the frame as shown, to allow the saw blade to be inserted. Holes should be drilled for the pins which hold the blade. The frame should be made a trifle too long for the blade, so that it will have to be sprung together slightly in inserting the saw blade. If this is done, the saw will be held tightly in the frame.
